2. Minutes of last meeting:
Proposed: John Oaks, Seconded Adrian Winter
Village Green: Grant obtained to register village green and associated legal fees, in progress and estimated to take around 15 months. Grant also covers landscaping plans, surveyor has reviewed the site and is drawing up plans, expected within the next few weeks.
Playing Field: Chair provided history, committee to be reformed, 3rd party insurance expires in June 2025 with no current means to renew it. Steve Gelder to arrange a committee meeting to fund insurance, estimated £1,000 and grass cutting estimated £900
3. Reports from Sub committee:
Neighbourhood plan-report provided by Anna Leckey and read by Chair as attached.
Policies to be discussed at next Neighbourhood plan meeting on 17th February 2025
Draft plan to be made available 14th July 2025- to be viewed at an Open church event. Final plan to be available 1st September 2025
Chair confirmed that £640 to be spent on projector and screen to be used at Open church event
4. Correspondence:
Parish meeting- Chair wrote to Chair of Heapham Village Meeting to see if Heapham were interested in joining together with Springthorpe to start a Village Council. Offer declined by Heapham village.
Willingham medical charity- confirmed they will donate to an event for this year, but no sum confirmed. Discussed, usually around £300. Propose to roll over to next year.

Quickline Fibre Broadband- encourage village members to register interest as appropriate, information available on Quickline website.
Community Speedwatch- will not fund training for only 2 volunteers. Nil further
Steve Gelder unable to attend this Village Meeting, Chair wrote back for Steve Gelder to arrange a meeting to reform the Playing field committee
Tillbridge Solar Proposal hearing 14 January 2025- Chair represented and spoke on behalf of the village. Health matters not discussed as proposed because Tillbridge specialist was unavailable. Therefore health matters remain undiscussed and unverified.
Financial Matters:
Propose to purchase AED and annual registration fee for Sturgate approx. £710, agreed in principal

Treasurers report provided- cash in bank stands at £2194.86 of which £1533.87 belongs to Neighbourhood plan sub committee
Precept of 1152.93 confirmed
